Getting Here
Most travelers find trains the easiest way to get into Münster, and for those people who prefer convenience above all else, Hotel Horstmann is just perfect. The city’s main train station, Münster (Westf) Hauptbahnhof has great Intercity-Express (ICE) and regional connections from all over Germany plus neighboring countries too. It’s only minutes away by foot — no hassle with suitcases on arrival; you won’t need a taxi either!
The nearest airport for those who prefer traveling by air is the MĂĽnster OsnabrĂĽck International Airport, located about 25 km north of the city center. FlixBus and S50 operate their buses from this airport straight to a bus stop right at MĂĽnster Hauptbahnhof with a big frequency. The ride itself takes approximately half an hour. The hotel is as well just five minutes on foot from the station, so probably the whole transfer would not take much time and will be easy for everyone to handle.
If you are driving, Münster has great Autobahn connections (A1 and A43). This hotel sits right downtown where traffic can be hectic. There is just a small number of private parking spots at this place for which they charge by the day—and calling the hotel direct to book way ahead of your trip is a must-do task on your list. Should their lot fill up, public parking garages —Parkhaus—near the train station will have spaces open.
